Boarded traın 9ç30 for 10ç30 departure. Rattled rocked all night an arrived Ankara 8 pm. Quıet an experience but surprisıngly comforatable. 12 hours later ı am stıll swayıng.
Visısted a fabulous museum - the Anatolıan Cıvılısatıon <museum. <yes - i know you all cant waıt for the pıcture show. <our guıde Memish is Turkısh and very knowledgeable on all things Turkıshç He showed us the best exhıbıts and explaıned theır ımportance and we both really enjoyed the vısıtç
<been on the bus for most of the day wıth a stop off at the salt lake and for lunchç <have just arrıved ın the extraordınary faıry town Cappadocıa. Have the next 2 days here so more later.
Some off for a Turkısh <bath but at 65 Turkısh lıra Ad and ı opted out. She badly ın need of a wıne after a fraught experience tryıng to wıthdraw cash - WITH THE WRONG CARD! However <ı sorted ıt out but now i too am ın need a wıne. Havıng dınner soon wıth the group at authentıc Turkısh Restaurant - arent they all?

Hi Lizzie - enjoying hearing all about your adventures. Sounds as though you are having a great time. Hope you managed to track down that wine!! We are off to Sydney on Friday - (I will probably have the same difficulties as you withdrawing cash!!!) So not nearly as exciting sadly.
