Random stray cats sleeping outside my dorm room. There are soooooo many stray cats in Istanbul, and at five am they seem to all make this sound that's a mixture of a cat giving birth, in heat and being tortured all at the same time.

Ankara isn't too bad. Honestly, I haven't had the chance to see that much of it yet, but it seems worth exploring. It's in a really great position in the country to make weekend trips from. School just started on Monday, although things works a little differently here... but I think it's going to be a great semester!
