Exciting things are afoot. The one I'm most excited about in this moment is the prospect of next semester's class schedule being put up. Classes I am potentially interested in taking are a great many and include:

Philosophy: Ontology, Philosophy of Science

Economics: Urban Economics, Environmental Economics, Topics in the History of Economic Thought, Special Topics in Development, Development and Finance, The Turkish Economy, Turkish Economic History (taught by Orhan Pamuk's brother!)

Sociology: Sociology of Gender, History of Social & Political Thought, Power & Inequality

History: History & Technology, Hittite History and Archeology (ftw sweet)

Political Science: Contemporary Political Ideology, Political Anthopology of Capitalism and Markets, Communications & Politics, Human Rights, Current Debates in Social & Political Theory

Art: Western Painting in the 20th Century

...and maybe Turkish and probably Spanish. Sweeeeeet.

In other exciting news, it's almost Christmas. It's supposed to snow here on Christmas Eve. Romantic. I am so excited to see this city under snow--I'm rather jealous of Seattle's current foot-plus.

Also, Emma White is moving into my apartment soon. Later Auveen will join her in this giant room that used to be Uygar's. They'll share it and I'll move into my old smaller one. We'll all pay significantly less for rent and utilities and be one big happy family! Yussss.

Semester's almost done. :X
