Sydney - Hobart here we come!!!Sydney - Hobart here we come!!!Sydney - Hobart here we come!!!

Now if only George will loan us his boat for a few days. This was the best day we had in the Greek Islands, sailing, snorkeling and soaking up the sun.
Spent a day on a 14m Yacht called Annabella with it's owner George and his other half Kathy. These 2 live on the boat and live between Athens and the Greek islands, so you can see where there passion lies. We were the workıng crew where I had to pull the ropes and Emma took the helm. She dıd ok untıl a humungous ferry came headıng straıght for us. We saıled to Paros Island where we dıd some snorkellıng. It was an amazıng day. Next Island was Mykonos. Lots of beaches, boobs and gays! Had a big night ın a gay piano bar with a group of kiwi ladies all in their 60's. We are deffınately bronzed aussies now. Back to Athens to catch a flight to Prague, no bugger it, lets go east; Istanbul, Turkey. Greek adventure over.
Turkey was too close not to visit, especially the battlefields of Gallipoli. Had a huge day getting there, looking around, shedding a tear and then making our way back to Istanbul. Turkey is a fasinating place which the bigest and longest existing city wall that we have spotted yet. We stayed in the old part of the city which is where most

This is where the Anzac Day celebrations are held at Gallipoli. Not shown here, but you might recall all the hullabaloo about the roadworks near here? Well with all the visitors I'm not too suprised that they needed to do some mods - the dust will settle I'm sure.
of the action seems to be with the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazzar and the best of all the Sultans Palace. This took in a full half day or more to work through, around and over to see everything. If any one has been to the tower of London, sorry it's nothing like this baby. Spent 3 nights here before grabbing a plane to Vienna (we'll get to Prague eventually!). Back to civilisation with a difference, this place is a picture with it's old buildings neat and not a hair out of place. Buildings destroyed during the 2nd World War have been replaced and have been achitectually made to fit in with the old - pretty stunning really. Didn't linger too long here and caught a choo choo to the Czech Republic. I think the trains through this part of the counrty have more conductors and border guards on them than passengers, but we finally arrived in Prague. We were met by the usual throng of people vying for our custom to stay at their hotel, B and B, appartment etc. Emma struck a deal with a nice lady called Jana, and we had ourselves an appartment. Wow, another big suprise.

Not too much to say about this place except that it is a very sad and solemn place. The view however of the whole Gallipoli Penninsula is fantastic.
Prague is sort of like Vienna as it has all the old buildings, but it's a bit more oldie worldie, and the architecture is certainly much more stunning. Our first evening was interesting as we stumbled into a resteraunt which just happened to be a country and western joint - Czech style - what a laugh, but good fun. Unfortunately we did meet with resistance at the station as we were about to leave the Czech Republic. Emma was about ready to tear a guys throat out as he fined us for not having the right ticket (maybe !!!) as he was unable to provide us with much fact, but it was strange that they were just picking on the tourists. Hmmmmm. Next adventure Berlin, more border gaurds and the most picturesque scenery as we travelled alongside a river through valleys and country side. Arrived in Berlin about mid arvo and found accomadation. Went for a walk to see a section of the old Berlin Wall, added our names to it along with the zillions of others before us. Grabbed a train and subway to Checkpoint Charlie and it's museum - Pretty sad stuff really. We have just completed a

Hard to know which pic to put in here, so you get our mugs at one of the many displays of mosaic works. Just in front of us was the little room where circumsisions where performed - more watering eyes!!!
city tour an are now killing time to catch our next train/ferry/train to Stockholme in Sweden at midnight.

Vienna, city of old and clean except for maybe this place which is under restoration at the moment. Our hotel was again just up the road from here.

This was cool fun and a great way to see Prague. Had other options to do this in other cities, but it was so much cheaper to do it here.

Famous in it's own right for the political issues it caused right up till recent years. Parts of the wall still remain and feature as artists works in many spots. Thought we would spice this section up a tad :)
