Ah, I see from Rob's previous blog that I have been implicated as a partner in crime for the tardiness of our travel updates ("we" blew it??). We didn't see many high rises along the waterfront which was just as well. They seem to have resisted the tendency in many other countries to put up their tallest apartments along the waterfront (to the detriment of everyone else behind them)

Not sure what the story is but we saw gazillions of jellyfish washed up along the waterfront. Maybe this is the time of the year they commit kamikaze en masse
