My name is Roger and I am originally from the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia but now live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. According to merchants I spoke to, the city was a ghost town and not its normal bustling self because of fear generated by the Trump announcement. Riots did occur in Bethlehem as Palestinians protested.

Instead of allowing us to find the restaurant for lunch, they insisted on sharing their home made food with us.

Jeanette and I celebrated this important Jewish feast with others, as guest of a lovely Jewish family whose roots go back a long way, their ancestors having immigrated from Poland.

Words fail me to express what a great blog and great time you both had in Israel and beyond. How I wish my trip was a quarter of what you saw and experienced.
