Alex, Lynda and I visited the open day of this old farmhouse which is slowly being restored to its medieval glory. Its up in the hills 10 miles from our house, and to reach it was a mile and a half walk - we certainly did our steps today! There were people dressed in the correct costume, to give a feel of what it was like. But they were outside because the house is a ruin as yet! They showed us cooking, gardening and archery. We all enjoyed ourselves, but I had to be at work very soon after we got back.
