another birthday

and this time it was mine. As the weather was nice and we felt it unlikely we'd be going far this year, we decided to pitch our tents in the field and have a weekend camp. We began the day with a trip to Dad, where a bottle of fizz was ready in the fridge, then back home where various friends turned up during the day and, besides bearing gifts, helped to eat birthday cake or drink gin and tonic.......it was lovely. Thankyou everyone for such a special day. Loads of lovely cards too, including special editions from Martha and Jack.
