Harlech Castle
We haven't seen Harlech castle inside because we got there about 15 minutes too late than we should have got there. Bad luck or just delay cause by extended visit in Gwrych Castle.

That castle was build by king Edward I after Wales were conquered by English knights. Afterwards couple of times that castle had significant importance for example during the War of Two Roses king Henry VII escaped to Scotland from this castle. Harlech had been besieged for seven years.

Castle is not big - size is 30 by 40 meters, it has four towers and characteristic gate. For me it is typical example of medieval military architecture. Moreover Harlech castle was build in interesting location - on the head of the cliff and very close from highest part of Snowdonia mountains. Landscape is really worth to see and take some pictures - I've done just a few.
