After a short train ride we arrived in Cardiff. We explored around the Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Museum, Cardiff Bay and Mermaid Quay. We were getting nervous about our travel to Snowdonia (up the entire length of Wales) so we went to the Info centre for some advice as we had now idea as to get there. The train was the best option so we booked that for a bargan price of 16 pounds each compared to the 65 pounds each for the next train. We are finding out quickly that we need not only to compare train and bus fares but also different times of day as this also makes a big difference.
