We are on our Way............

Well,for those who know us you will all know that this trip was first talked about about away back in Summer 2005!



This seems to have been the longest wait ever for a Holiday to come round,however at long last we are nearly there.



We all leave Scotland at various points today,Friday 9th March.Some of the guys have decided to make a day trip to London and some have decided to travel down on the Friday evening.



We will all meet up in our Hotel at Gatwick Airport at around 9pm for a few going away drinks! Nothing too heavy as we are all up at 5am for our 6am check in at The Virgin Airline Desk. We are booked on the 9am from London Gatwick where we head to Antigua in the West Indies.Flight time is around 9 hours and all being well we will land in The Sunny Caribbean at 2pm Local time.....We will be 4 hours behind GMT for the duration of our trip.


Due to the Inter Island Aircraft being extremely busy we have to wait around in Antigua for around 4 and half hours before our short flight onto our Island of St Kitts where we will be staying for the fortnight.Flight time from Antigua is 20 minutes and in fact on a clear day you can see St Kitts from Antigua!

All being well we hope to be checked in to our Hotel at around 8pm Local time which will be midnight GMT. A very long day for all of us but I am sure the boys will want to sample some of the Liquid refreshments that will be on offer at our Hotel where we have pushed the boat out and gone ALL INCLUSIVE.....Bed,Breakfast,Lunch Evening Dinner where the bar is open from 6am till 12 midnight!!!!!!
