These are the two most common reactions we have had when telling folk about our trip.

We've just started this travel blog from home as we prepare to head off first to New Zealand via Tokyo.
We are busy just now with final packing details and preparing our house for our visitors.

Sam and Emma will be adding to this blog as we go, so hopefully you can keep up with our adventures.
