Our wee Scotish holiday

"Come in August", I told my sister, "Britain is beautiful in summer". If only I knew we wouldn't have any summer!
Anais arrived on a wednesday and on the Thursday we left to Scotland. It was quite a long journey and we waisted a little bit of our holiday getting organized with camping and highering cars, but after we sorted all that, we had the best time.
Luckely we had the best weather when we had to camp and when it started to rain and get really cold we decided to stay in bed and breakfasts.
We managed to do everything we wanted, comedy show in Edinburgh, drive to Inverness and see the Loch Ness, go to a whisky distilery, go to St Andrews and have a nice meal, go back to Edinburgh and visit the castle.
Tom had haggis and a deep fried Mars Bar, Anais went to her first pub and pumped petrol for the first time and I managed to drive and not cause any accidents.
All in all it was a very succesfull trip. Anais enjoied it so much that she quit her job and will be back in the UK in three days.
