Hello Boys and Girls! Camille and I went up to the northwest coast of Scotland last week. We went to a town called Oban. It is on the water. We took a ferry across the water to the Island Of Mull. A ferry is a large boat that can transport people and their cars across the water. There was a restaurant and even a gift shop on the ferry! Camille and I liked going to the top deck and looking out at the little islands, birds, and water as we went by. The Island of Mull does not have many people living on it. A long time ago people were forced to move off the island so the sheep farmers could have more sheep there. As you might guess there are many sheep still there. There is one town called Tobermory where a children's show called Balmorry is filmed. All of the buildings in the town are painted very bright colors.

This is the big ferry we took to the Isle of Mull get slate(a type of rock) for the roof of their houses. There is so much slate that they hold the world stone skipping championship here. Have any of you tried to skip a rock across the water? Slate is perfect for that because it is a very flat rock.
The daffodils in our front yard have bloomed! That means spring is on the way. Camille's birthday is actually on the first day of spring. She will be 3 years old. Bye for now, Camille and Finnigan
