Ellon
Our first day in Ellon. Sunny blue skies! We had a great time in Aberdeen from the moment we touched down.
Spending time with Katharine and her family, enjoying the clean fresh air and seeing green and yellow across the horizon as we drove along the countryside.
Mum,and Dad took such good care of us and fed us well during our stay.
Dad took us for a tour of the Glenfiddich whisky distillery which was interesting.
He was brave and generous and shared some of his collection of whiskies and unfortunately for him, I loved his favourite bottle (Laphroaig) the best..ha ha
We spent the rest of the days chilling out and jogging around the neighbourhood and burnt away all the farewell and welcome drinks we had consumed before coming here......
And I finally got to try haggis, neaps and tatties meal which was fabulous. I really liked it and have been wondering how to bring it to Malaysia!
No one believed us when we told them that we had warm weather during our 2 week stay in Ellon. Sunshine and blue skies most days. We didnt really need a jumper during our walk along the beach and even got to see dolphins
Ellon
Jogging around the neighbourhood swimming nearby.
We also visited places nearby with Scottish names I cannot pronounce...but really nice views of the country, cliffs and beaches.
But before we knew it, it was time to go..... We must come back again soon....
