HOLYWOOD here I comeHOLYWOOD here I comeHOLYWOOD here I come

Alan about to start a 4 hour walk along belfast lough to Holywood (we thought it was only 2hrs!!!!!)
A nice surprise!!! We received a call the other morning from Ryan wanting to speak with Alan, as usual I panicked thinking something was wrong at home. He was calling to ask for Kristelle’s hand in marriage, very sweet. We had to then keep quiet until he proposed in Paris. He had the ring and she was really taken by surprise. It’s wonderful news, so there will probably be a wedding sometime next year folks, we will keep you posted. We cannot wait to see them on Saturday when they arrive in Ireland. Michelle and Iz are having a great time, as you will know if you are following their blogs. So far they’ve had no problems with the floods in the UK. We’ve spent the last few weeks doing a lot of walking trips. Also caught the train up to the walled city of Londonderry/Derry. Alan had not been there before so it was interesting learning about it’s past. It’s the best example of a walled city in the UK because it is still completely intact. I have attached some photos of latest excursions. We’re having trouble downloading some photos from Alan’s camera, which has a lot of the family

on it so hopefully we can get it sorted. Next blog should have a photo of the Ring!!!! Take care all in Oz. Bye for now Love Francie(and Alan who is supposed to be writing this one Grrrrrrr!) (Just a footnote Belfast is in County Down, have been unable to change it from County Antrim which keeps coming up in Location. Just incase some of you are checking out the area)

Weather here has been glorious!...a bit cold though. Today I went out with friends to Nebo and had lunch at the hotel...delicious! Then we spent the afternoon on an outback adventure...Mount Britton Blew a tyre on the way home
