Shopping UK day

Nice breakfast offerings at the hotel was egg or bacon baps and some cakes plus hot drinks. More than enough to get us started in the morning.

As today is Sunday, most of the shops do not open until 10.30am, so it was a nice opportunity to have a lay in.

George´s eye is still hurting from when a fly flew into it in Singapore, so first stop today is Boots to get something for it. It turns out he has a small infection in his eye, so the pharmacist gave him some antibiotic drops and no prescription required.

Next stop B&M stores. This is a new shop for us, but we hear they are good value. We were not to be disappointed. There was enough savings here to pay for suitcase one of two.

Next stop Morrison's for some household supplies.

After this we walked to Crawley town centre as George wanted a KFC. But we found a proper kebab shop and had a lovely meal there instead.

That was it for the shopping today. We have got most of the items that we want.

As we had a big meal at lunch time we did not want another big meal, so have bought a picnic from Morrison's. After all the rich large meals we have had recently, this is a nice pleasant change.
