Weekends in Brum!

Before heading off again we thought we'd better fill in the gaps between our weekend trips away in Birmingham our home for the past 19 weeks;

Party's : Vicky's Hat Party, Viv Birthday Party, Leila's Housewarming, Drinks with Balsall Girls, Poledancing party at Anna's (took days to recover!), Leaving drinks at ours!

Movies: Batman, Rockaroller, Bond- Quantum of Solace

Bars: The slug and the Lettuce, Reflex (80's Carly's favourite!), Walk-a-bout, The pitcher and the piano, The Acadian, Red Poppy, Barfly, Patrick Cavernaghs, Island Cocktail Bar, The fighting cocks.

Bands: Lupe Fiasco, Hotchip

Sights: The Floozy in the Jacuzzi, St. Pauls Garden, Botanical Gardens (from the outside at 7quid each), the Bullring, the Jewelery Quarter, The Mailbox, The Canels, Mosely Farmers Market, Cannon Hill Park.

Highlights and Events:
- Spending a weekend car hunting, purchasing a 106 Peugeot for it to blow up three days later!
- Aston Villa Game- an awesome atmosphere and thrilling game despite being scoreless. We might come to appreciate this game yet!
- Snow on the 2nd Tuesday of October!(Yes thats still Autumn)
- Fireworks at the Yale for Bonfire Night

Courses: Photography course, Ticknall

Workplaces: Jez- Sandwell District Hospital, The Dove Centre and Stockland Green
Carly- Balsall Heath Health Care Centre; the home of "too much pain"

We finally left Birmingham after 19 weeks, 7 longer than we first anticipated, we'd like to thank everyone for making our time there fantastic and we might be back..
Next stop Egypt...
