Eventually picked up the new car today. It is as nice as we were expecting.
Drove home only to find that we had left the house keys in the old car, so had to make another visit to the garage to pick them up.
We have the new wheels now, but unfortunately cannot book anything for our departure until the DVLA log book turns up. Garage estimates this could take up to 3 weeks. We are hoping it will not, as we cannot leave without it.

Ebay is hoting up now. The house is looking rather empty

We are George & Theresa. We took early retirement at the end of 2010 and intended to spend an extended time travelling. First we visited our favourite location of Tenerife where we intended on staying for three or four months and possibly buying a property ready for our finally settling down. We have enjoyed our time here in Tenerife so much we have bought a property and have decided to change our travelling plans.
