It seems impossible that after years of planning, our retirement is now only 3 days away.
We shall both be leaving our jobs on Friday 17 December.
The selling of our house contents is going well, but is now on hold as we are to be away from the house for an extended period.
We have recently given notice on our rented house and must now be out by 23 March 2011.
Off to Tenerife on Tusday 21st December for two weeks for Christmas and New Year celebrations returning on 4 January 2011.
Then off to USA on 11 January for a week in New York followed by a train journey to Dallas where we will be staying with friends for another week.
February 2011 is likely to be a very busy month as it will see all the final sales going through and the delicate final decision of what to keep and what to get rid of.
