So, this time next week, all being well we will be in a hotel in le mans. After the horror of driving from Bruges in torrential rain with no wipers last year, breaking down in Albania the year before and well, Paris the year before, here's hoping for a smooth dull holiday ( no chance!!!)

bought a van, called it Jason (Jason Dono-van......) got a mate to rebuild the bed and a toilet cubicle, made a load of cushions and decided to head off round Europe in the summer of 2012. So utterly amazing was the trip we drove to the Parthenon in 2013. Since then we've added a small person, sold the van but still average several thousand miles around Europe every year... full info
