Bayside Walkway
Swansea, Wales. I will miss this . .Posting from London England around 9:30
So London surprisingly smells like the Oklahoma State Fair, Im craving a corn dog like crazy right now. We had our last full day in London and the U.K. today. Friday morning we had one last lunch and a walk around Mumbels before we loaded up and headed to London. We went to the pier and saw the light house, unfortunitly we didn't have enough time to walk all the way to it. Im really going to miss Wales, It was so peaceful and beautiful. We could not have had better weather. Rachel from SYSHP told us Swansea has 2 weeks of sunshine a year so it was really suprising that we made it for one! Im going to have to find some way to come back. As we were driving away and I was watching the things we passed all week for the last time it really made my heart hurt. The trip to London was long, we left at 3 and didn't get there untill almost 8. We went across the street and had McDonalds for dinner. My first meal in London was American fast food. . . Today we all took the
tube (subway) to the center of London to explore the city. I and several others took a bus tour of the city which was the best thing I could have done! This city is HUGE! and oh so beautiful. my camera almost went into epileptic shock. We saw Big Ben, Westminster Abby, The London Eye, Tower Bridge, Abby Road, Buckingham Palace, The House of Lords, BBC, the original Hard Rock cafe, The Tower of London, im still on overload. You can't do London in one day, but we gave it our best. My favorite thing was the giant count down clock for the 2012 summer olymplics! I got to ride on the roof of a double decker bus, watched the Palace guards march around, and ate at the original Hard Rock Cafe (Mark Scott was in heaven!) I wish we could have had more time, we didnt get to ride the London eye or do the river tour like I had hoped. Its just way to much to try to fit into one day. I heard so many different languages while we were on our tour. People come from all over the world to tour London, I sat next to

Mumbles Pier
Swansea, Walesa lady from France and then a man Denmark for awhile. This city is amazing! I don't want to leave. I feel at home here. Someday I will come back and I will see it all on my own time. That is the only way to do it.
We fly out tomorrow at noon. This is my last night in the U.K. 😞 I am so thankful for this opportunity, This has been the most amazing week of my life! The people I was with were amazing, the places that we went were phenomenal, and the times we had were unforgetable!
My next and final post will be from home. . I'll see you soon then . .
FYI
London is nothing like it is in the movies.
The Hard Rock has bomb food!
Im pretty sure there are more tourists here then residents.
There were middle easterners there protesting the 2012 Olympic logo.
McDonald's in the UK serve yummy muffins.
I have eaten McDonalds more this week then I have in the last year.
I miss Wales and I don't want to come home. . .
-God Bless
