Me
No longer with the delightful beard as shown! Excitement has reached an all-time high, can't wait to begin 3 months of "pure pleasure" travelling with two great friends, Gus and Mark. Basically I'm setting up this blog to try to keep people back home updated on how things are going, although I expect entries will be sporadic at best! Maybe I'll even put some photos up, and I think it takes videos too, so hopefully I'll work out how to do that.
For those of you reading that don't know where I'm going, I'll be in Hong Kong 7th-14th Mar, Australia 15th Mar- 25th Apr, New Zealand 25th Apr- 23 May and then Fiji until 6th Jun, back in the UK on the 7th June.
So I actually arrive in Hong Kong on 8th March, staying in Kowloon district in some £7 a night hostel, will be interesting to see what that's like!
Can't think of much more to write other than feel free to leave any cheerful comments about how much you miss me, and how your life will be so much better when I get back!! Failing that a hello will do.
Next time you hear from me I'll be in Hong Kong.

hello tom. thought i'd open your travel blog account before you left to see if it actually works LOL. didn't recognise the guy in the first picture ! have a really brilliant time mate, try to keep us updated but i'll understand if those aboriginal virgin slave women keep you away from the modern technology.well hopefully they will !! and if you find yourself in the face of great adversity remember your true british grit and stiff upper lip and tell them your a bit grisley and to eat gus and mark first LOL. looking forward to your comments as and when they come through. keep safe, and above all enjoy. all the best MTB
