After our daytrip out to Winchester, we drove back to
Basingstoke and met up with our friend's husband at his work. He works for the Lord and Lady of
Portsmouth and he gave us a tour of the grounds. It was amazing, and was my wife's favorite part of the entire trip! She loves gardens and they are very lovely here. We walked the grounds of the garden and house for over an hour, while Nikki went to get her kids from school. Later, we all met up at Nikki's house and sat around chatting until dinner, which was basic. We called in for Papa Johns pizza. They had a 2 for 1 deal, so we all got one and ate up, while talking well into the night. This was our last night with our friends and we were sad.
Nikki's girls became great friends with our daughter and were already missing each other. We said our goodnights and went to sleep at about 11 pm.
The next day we would go into
London again and Nikki said she may go with us.
