Day 21 - Tuesday, Oct 2

Today we met for studio early in the morning at our site. We discussed amongst our group and with Jonathan (prof) about the site. We then left to go to BedZED. This is a housing complex in Beddington that is a Zero Energy Development. It was really cool to see a complex that is a few years old and seeing how successful technologies used really are. We weren’t allowed to take pictures within complex because of the numbers of visitors there are (the residence need to keep their privacy) But fortunately we didn’t know this until we got into the info center so I snapped a few before that. They had a model home and in there we were allowed to take photos, the model home was very cool. I loved the design of it including the interior but it was a little too cramped for myself, but that’s London! When I got home I worked on homework then met up with some of the BSU architecture kids who are here for the week and went out for a while.
