Edit Blog Post
what a week... and unfortunately mostly not nice 😞
last thursday jaya and suhi started on their rabies injections (of which we need 3... and have to pay for!) when suhi was going to work she felt so unwell that she had to go back home and her parents had to take her straight to A&E... because she had an allergic reaction to the injection. It was
very very bad reaction and it scared the hell out of everyone. Fortunately she only had to stay for one night and she is almost fully recovered now but it does mean that she cannot have any more of those injections obviously. So me and jaya will have to keep an extra close eye out for rabid monkeys and dogs and kick them out of suhi’s way! On the up side- the chance of anyone reacting to the rabies injection is 1 in 10,000 so suhi will be buying our lottery tickets over the coming weeks!!
It was also extremely sad to hear about the disaster that happened in asia this week and all our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by it. Thank god all of our friends and family in those areas are ok. A lot of the places we are going to have been hit with it but rest assured, we will find out if it is safe in those areas before travelling there- so those of you who are extra worried, please don’t be!
Well that’s it for now… if we have anything else to report before we go in 2½ weeks, we will post it up. Take care and bye for now.
