Three weeks to go now

Three weeks until we start our little adventure. We've had this itch to do some travelling for years, but what with raising children, jobs and 18 years of dog companionship the opportunity to do it has just not been there. Now the kids are grown, we manage to get by without proper jobs, and sadly we lost our much-loved dog in December. Life in our house just isn't the same without him, so off we go.
February 1st we hit Heathrow going to Thailand, intend to be there about a month, then onward to Australia, aiming to take in Womadelaide in March, also hook up with a friend from our home town who's acting in a touring production in Brisbane.
After that, who knows. Whatever occurs, we'll try to keep y'all up to speed.
