Festive Break

We had a lovely Christmas period, Christmas day after a fried egg sandwich and opening our presents we visited Wayne’s mum and dad to say Happy Christmas. We went over to Braintree for lunch and spent the afternoon playing Worst Case Scenario trivia with my parents and Aunty Mary. We got home tired and full of food. After a rest we tried some of the new Wii games out before heading to bed.

Boxing day was Christmas dinner 2. We went to Wayne’s parents where his brother and family joined us for lunch. First however we exchanged presents. The two boys spent over ½ hr being tormented by there tubes of money. Baby Alicia liked the Hamilies bear Wayne got her. Dinner filled us up to bursting and after a chat we made a quick escape before more food appeared.

For New Year we joined Suzanne and Malc for food and Wii games. A low key but fun evening to see in 2009!

After a long break from work I finally went back to the grind stone and 2009 began.
