Bank holiday weekend

Friday night we hit the town - a night out in Chelmsford with Jan, Ian, Kate and Wayne. Wayne got drunk!!!!! (very unusual!!) He turned into Jimmy one leg (with a Kevlar leg!), Ian became ‘Ella’ and I became very very tired, not getting to sleep until 7am.

Overall it was a good night out at Hot House and Bassment, Wayne adding to the excitement! At least it wasn’t me this time!!!!


Saturday was a day of recovery. We got up at 1pm and went and looked at some cars (Wayne is looking at getting a new one having sold his Audi he wants a newer 4x4 -making him a one car man!). We had some food at BazVagas and went home to chill out.

Sunday we were up (not quite early enough) and out at 8am for another days diving at Gildi. It was terrible weather - big wind, lots of rain, brrrr. Training was all very good, so overall a successful trip.

Monday we went to Southend Air Show on a Barge. It rained, and rained, and rained. I spent most of the day in the cabin, coming out every so often to go Ohhh, Ahhh what a nice plane, before freezing and having to go back down below and hovering over a radiator.
