Blindley loves a good B-road
To be honest, we were a little nervous about leaving our Blindley in the mean streets of East London while we were in Australia. I'm not sure why in hindsight; she can certainly handle herself and obviously looks beefy enough to ward off any admirers. So to celebrate the fact that (a) Blindley has survived our absence and (b) she still had her four wheels, not having been on bricks on our return, we collected Carly, Bill and Tamara on Saturday morning and headed out to the country for a pub lunch. Our first stop was a co-operative car park in Heathfield which hosted the monthly farmers market. After sampling some innovative sugar (beetroot) chutney and meeting the local characters, we set off for a 3 km walk along the Cuckoo Trail to Horam. All were relieved to arrive at a pub called the Brewers Arms at the half way point. It did not disappoint. After filling our bellies a little too much, the group struggled to find the pace we had so easily sustained on our outward stroll. Tired, wet and with our post food coma well and truly taking over, Blindley met us and without a single complaint (despite
