I went to Hull on this day.... people were surprised I was able to fill the whole day. In hind sight I see what they mean....... I kid, I kid,.... Hull was great, once you get past the fact that it was filled with short, white, old people (honestly I felt like a giant here, and there wasn't an ethnic to be seen).
There was the English abolitionist's home, the art museum (that needed a paint job), the maritime museum (which loved the Codd wars) and a fantastic old town (that survived WW2 bombings, but was slowly being killed by poorly conceived retail developments that had pulled people out from the centre and into a soulless mall). I'm disappointed I missed Hull's celebrated Deep Aquarium, but that will be for another time.
Enjoy and explore the "end of the line" Hull.
