Extended stay in Falmouth

We've been in Falmouth for two weeks now, apart from our quick dash to Bristol, Wales & London to go to the hospital & visit friends & family one last time. It's given us a chance to finish a LOT of jobs on the boat.. Our sailing adventure so far... We have been building the 'Disco Volante' since 2005. It started off as the imagination of a Naval Architect, but now it's finished! Sounds like crew morale remains high after lashings of hard work paid off and you are at last shipshape.... Or should that be lashings of cider, piles of pasties and copious cocktails.... Bon Boyage - a tout a l'heure!

Falmouth
Well done on all your hard work it will pay off. Sounds like you have been on a huge learning curve but good fun too. We spent a week in Falmouth sheltering from the weather in Regatta week which was great fun including a hog roast with the Wurzells providing the music. I agree that the sunsets were amazing, we took loads of pictures too. Good luck for the next leg. Carol and Ian x

Food in Falmouth
Enjoying Falmouth from a boat sounds like so much fun. The food there sounds absolutely amazing, fresh and locally sourced. It sounds like something the town really takes pride in and it's great you got to experience a variety of meals.
