This time next week we will be heading up to Heathrow before flying to Washington on Monday for our holiday of a lifetime.

Wifi access permitting I shall try and use this to keep a record of our travels. As a first time blogger I'm not promising anything too exciting but was persuaded by a friend to give it a go so it's almost rude not to!!
