Bucket list item number one: Skiing in the Alps without a cloud in the sky surrounded by gorgeous mountains and then home to a fondue dinner: check!

Saturday February 18

Skiing in the Alps! I went to Champery today with my host dad and sister (Courtney) and we went skiing in the warm sun against a backdrop of the Dents de Midi (really cool looking jagged mountain peaks). It was like spring skiing since it was so warm – you practically could ski in just a t-shirt. It wasn’t that difficult of a mountain, but it was big so we didn’t do the same run twice the entire day. And I love being completely surrounded by mountains so it was wonderful! Then we went home to a fondue dinner. A perfect day!
