Have a wonderful evening and morning with Susanne and Alois, two farm owners who have retired this past year and have modified their barn to be a 'Sleep in Straw' facility for tourists.
Susanne was very cheerful and talkative about their life in Lungern, a small town at the summit of the Bruenig Pass between Interlaken and Luzern. This was the first day that we decided to take the train instead of cycle since the climb was over 600 meters and apparently on stony non asphalt terrain.

Not the only place we saw notices like this - 'whether big or wee, sitting must be'
