Today we went to Lausanne for the day. It was amazing down by the lake the view was great. We went and checked out the Olympic museum but decided not to go inside because it was too expensive. We sat by the lake all day and relaxed. We decided to go on a boat across the lake to Montreux to meet Anne-Laure at a famous jazz festival.

The next day we were so lucky to have Anne-Laure drive us around and take us to places like Gruyere and a chocolate factory to taste some delicious Swiss chocolate. Gruyere had to be one of my favourite places, it was such a beautiful small town famous for its cheese. Anne-Laure took us to a café devoted to the movie Alien, it was cool.

That night Anne-Laures dad made us fondue using a mix of two cheeses one of the cheeses from Gruyere, it was great although I probably stacked on 5kg in one day. It was so great staying with Anne-Laure we saw a lot of amazing things that we couldn’t have done alone.

Lauterbunne our next stop was amazing I wish we could stay there

longer (I have already decided that we will be back). High up in the Alps there was so many adventure sports to do and beautiful things to see. We went for a walk up behind a water- fall it was so amazing and the area reminded me of home. We got to try rostie for dinner it was nice too.

We left Lauterburnne early to get to Munich by 5.30pm on the way we stopped in a tiny country measuring 25km in length and 6km in width. Famous for its postcards and that’s about all it was nice to see and I was stocked to get my passport stamped. Once in Munich we headed straight to happy hour at the bar. All we know is we had a great night and that you can get a bad hang over when drinking German beer. (But we will be back to test the theory at Oktoberfest).
