like i said, we just got there and they picked us up to go paragliding, this was near the spot where we jumped off Ok, seriously the best trip ever, the most gorgeous place i have ever seen. I absolutely loved this trip. If you have not been, you must. I will definitely be going back. It was so much different from the city life. Clean, more bikes than cars, wild life, mountains, clear blue water, nice, english speaking people, it was fantastic. The train ride up was not as thrilling. We had a sleeper car; yeah we were packed in there. Six beds in a little room, slightly uncomfortable. I tried to sleep most of the way. But they brought us a nice little breakfast when we woke up and, man, the view when we woke up was amazing. The houses are exactly what you would imagine for this region, and the mountains, god, the most breathtaking mountains with snowy tops. The water in the river was a crystal clear blue. Dont worry, there will be pics. I love Interlaken; such a lovely little town. It was very easy to get around and everyone was so nice. We were so lucky with the weather. Seriously, perfect blue skies every day we were there. It would be a little cool during the day and then
right before the jump
lucky me, i got to be the first one to go, i didnt have to run much, just a couple of steps and we were off, at first i didnt think we would get up, but all was well chilly at night. We stayed at Balmers, this pretty famous hostel, a backpacker's haven. The people there were great. Really helpful, setting everything up for you. We check in and decide to go paragliding right then. So about 3 hours after we get there, we are picked up to go jump off an alp. Yeah, life is great. The paragliding people were very nice. I was a little nervous about the takeoff, but it was so simple. I just ran a couple of steps and we were off. I did take my camera up, so there are pics and recordings of my flight. Man, it was exhilerating. My guy started to do some major twists and turns, ill be honest, i got a little dizzy, but it was so much fun. Great views of the entire region. Then we went back to the hostel and the guy there told us of a walk to take to a castle, so we did. We walked into town and then walked along the river on this gorgeous path with sheep and cows. That night we went to this little bar/restaurant. Laura and sara got some ribs and i had this local dish with

once we were up, it was a great flight, not too cold, a great view, it was so much fun dumplings and venison. Pretty good. We also tried some local beer that was great. Smooth and light. The next day we took the train to lauterbrunnen, and walked in this valley completely surrounded by waterfalls. We went to trummbellefalls, these cascades in a mountain. It was so cold, loud and wet inside. As soon as you walked in, your nose starts to run like crazy. It was was really pretty. I also climbed an apple tree to get some nice apples for a little snack for us and these asian chicks that wanted some. We also met some americans on the way that were really nice. We later met up with them for drinks that night. They are actually in rome today, so we are meeting up with them tonight to show them around. Then we walked some more to the lift to go to a small town called gimmelwald. The lift was fun, and gimmelwald was so cute. Perfect views. There was a little playground with the best slide on top of the world. I had so much fun on this walk. I fell in love with this region. That night we went to a mexican restaurant and then

that was my guy, he was pretty cute, really nice went to a couple of bars. Everyone is so nice, i cant remember one rude person. Sat. we rented some bikes and just rode around town. We went back to the path we took previously and stopped at a little spot on the lake. I could have sat there forever. We did encounter geese that, i kid you not, hissed at us. It was the weirdest thing. We just rode our bikes a little more around town, did some shopping, just had a great relaxing day. Ate plenty of chocolate, bought plenty of chocolate. Had some awesome fondue that night. The next day we did some more shopping, just took it easy and enjoyed being out of the crazy city. I really love this place. I did not want to leave, but alas, our trip came to an end. We got to see some beautiful scenery on the train ride back, including the tuscany region. Ok, i feel like a could write so much more, but i dont have too much time, and i still want to put some pics up. So, basically, i had a fantastic time, i want to go back. I love switzerland. So, im back in rome,
