Another Update

Well, it looks like all of our blogs before this morning's post were lost in a server crash or something like that. Bummer. Its OK though because we know that everyone reads them all the day we post them so none of you missed any.

We are in Grindewald now and have settled into our hotel for a two night stay. We are looking forward to exploring in and around Grindewald. The weather is beautiful (about 80 degrees) and clear. There is still snow on the mountain peaks and we are nestled right in the middle of all of them.

This is usually what we buy for our one large meal of the day: bratwurst, saurkraut, and potatoe salad or mashed potatoes.

A lovely evening walk gave us opportunity for a lovely view.

The hike
We hiked up at Konigsee to an ice cave. That hike took us a good 3 hours round trip.

About as serene as it gets.

Lake Obersee was pretty amazing too.
