The first day in Riva was amazing. The view alone is spectacular and I can't get enough of the huge mountains surrounding us in this valley. We have the perfect combination of activities and lounging. After the two orientation sessions, we went outside to play basketball on the courts less than 100 ft. from the villa. After about an hour we went to the volleyball court which is less than 50 ft. from the villa and from there we played soccer. The weather here is hot. Its been about 85 degrees with some humidity.

The meals here are amazing. Breakfast consists of just cereal and yogurt, but the yogurt here is very good. Lunch is always an all you can eat salad bar with a huge variety of things and a pasta to follow. Today we had salmon with our salads. Dinner is always soup and some meat, which is different everyday, with vegetables and usually potatoes.

i went to the bank to exchange for my first franc currency. I was very disappointed when I received 67 franc for my $90. We went to lake afterward and swam. Its just your typical lake, but here in Switzerland with the view.

I posted some photos. I forgot to mention the church that is absolutely breath taking and one of the most beautiful displays of art I have ever seen. Everything is marble, and the attention to detail is amazing. Hope you enjoy. I'll stay in touch as soon as something else interesting happens. Were starting class now so things will get slower since I have 7.5 hours of school Mon.-Fri.
