hi! Im about to start the most exiting journey of my life, my travel around the world with my asian friend Weng. First stop Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland, I'm so exited!

We meted at centralstationen around 9am with one simply packed bag each, so tired and so cold bruuuh. We decided to buy one cup of chai latte each with extra sugar at espresso house, I love chai latte mmmhh. Shortly after we were in a hurry and we had to run gasping for air to the Copenhagen train. Luckily we maid it (barely).

3 hours and 45 minutes later we arrived to Copenhagen with a empty stomach so we decided to eat the national dish Meatballs, potatoes, red cabbage and brown sauce(didn't taste so god).

After 4h traveling you get a bit woozy so we leaned back and took a power nap under the 1,5h flight to Krakow.

When we landed in Poland we went straight to the buses to the train which would take us to Oświęcim(Auschwitz). Finally after 6h of traveling we made it to the final stop, Auschwitz concentration camp!

We went to Memorial and Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau and bought two tickets to the English tour in the last sale minute. Shortly after the we got guided around the museum, according to me it was pretty boring but Weng enjoyed it very much.

Did you know that Auschwitz was the biggest concentration camp in the world and more than 6 million people arrived and more then 1 million were killed there? Think that the population of Denmark could be send there and it still wouldn't be full! That's crazy!

As I said earlier I did not enjoy the "nazi" journey at its fullest. It was actually Weng that decided to go there so after Auschwitz I it was my turn to decide where in the world we would go. I choose Amsterdam in Netherlands!

So after the 95 minute tour we headed back to Krakow with the train (and took a nap) and then the buses to the airport. At least, I were still very tired so I once again I took a nap on the flight to Amsterdam.

After 2h and 25 minute we landed on Amsterdam Airport Schipol. I still remember the feeling I got when I stepped out of the airplane and felt the Dutch air for the first time, I thought it would be much more colder that time of the year (October) and got a feeling that I can't explain better the simply, a good feeling.

After we got our baggage we took the first and best cab to our hotel, Marnix Hotel. It wasn't the best hotel but it was pretty good for being a budget hotel, you can't live the dream everyday right? It costed around 90 euro for two nights so it was quite cheap 😊.

The budget hotel didn't mind me so much because of that we only slept in the hotel, on the days you don't want to sit inside the hotel all day, right?

And some things on the plus side, only a few steps away from Leidseplein Square were you can find lots of restaurants and clubs and the hotel is located in central Amsterdam!

Ohh forgot to tell you that we shared room with eight other people! But every time someone came into the room to sleep or the other way around you woke someone. Besides that it was a great experience sharing your room with so many new wonderful people. Me and Weng actually found two guys which were perfect for sharing our adventure with, Jackie and Chan.

After our almost sleepless night we all four agreed to plan our day like this:

Sightseeing, shopping and finish the night at the Chinese restaurant Nam Kee.

We saw all kind of things like the famous church Oude Kerk that apparently stands for "old church" and was first builded for catholic worshipping but today it express the the national character of Dutch Protestantism, Jackie was our personal tour the whole day and knew all sort of stuffs.

One thing I like especially about Amsterdam is the canals around the city. The canal we ate lunch at was named Keizersgracht (Emperor's canal). From "Restaurant Keizersgracht 238" we had an extraordinary view over the Keizersgracht canal with delicious food at the same time. From the restaurant we could see the autumn landscape of Amsterdam, so beautiful!

That was the point when I first felt that I loved this city.

When the food had melted down we thanked for the food and continued the day at Kalverstraat. We went to different shops like for example the Dutch shop V&D were I bought a bunch of polos and shirts, Zara and H&M. But don't think I only bought things for me, the last shop we went to was Rituals. In Rituals I bought som makeup for my lovely mother.

After some hours of shopping it was time for dinner, so fast home and change and then straight to Nam Kee. The food was so good and the company I had couldn't be better, it felt almost like a dream. When the food got served we started to plan our next day and where to we would go next after Amsterdam. We had some different opinions, me and Chan wanted to experience "the deep culture" of Netherlands, Jackie and Weng wanted to look at museums, famous buildings and other things like that. We also saw that me and Chan's interests was very likely and the same to Weng and Jackie so we decided to split up after that night.

So you probably wonder who this Chan is, let me tell you!

Chan got like me roots in the south west Asia and live in the deep mountains in Switzerland. He plays floorball like me and love to sport, have fun, explore new things and love challenges. Chan is a very happy person that always have a smile on his face, he cares a lot of how the people around him feels, never complains and always wants the best for the group.

According to me that are some really good properties and that's why we decided to travel together in the future.

Me and Chan wanted som extra hours of sleep so we woke up around 12 pm and ate our stomachs full and left the hotel on our third and last day in Amsterdam walking to Green House Coffee Shop were we would as many tourists would say experience the true culture of Netherlands. When we got there I was very surprised when I saw all the pictures on the walls and the cosy furnishing, but most surprised I was when Joa (the man who runner the place) told about all the celebrities that had visit this coffeeshop . For example the famous artists Snoop dog, Rihanna and Jason Mraz. We shared on a Chocolope Kush and a Super Lemon Haze and soon the effects kicked in. We spend the whole day there with Joa and it felted like only a couple of hours.

And now we are here! I'm sitting here in front of my IPad and sharing the beginning of the adventure of my life to you friends! Hope you enjoyed this and if you did keep following my journey around the world. Tot ziens! (see you later)
