Visingso - Fairy tale island

Visingso is a tiny, gorgeous island in the middle of Lake Vattern, Sweden. One fine day, we went to the island for a picnic; 'we' comprising of Monu, Girish, Vivek, Kata and me. The island is gorgeous, with miles and miles of rolling meadows, enchanting forests, ruined castles, sleepy farmhouses, bleating lambs, ancient churches, shimmering lakes......stuff what Fairy tales are made off. We were half expecting a Princess Pretty or a Prince Charming to come out of somewhere. This is a place where time seems to have forgotten to flow.
