Well,....between tearing down and building up? Loved the pictures of where you have visited,...BUT...have to tell you I really appreciate all of the sky shots, sunsets, storms, just great pics in general. What a nice approach shot of the church from Visby. Impressive, indeed. When you are on a power boat,...you often have to jump the bow rail....that was my job and got more difficult as my knee got worse. One of the reasons why the Maxum had to go. For being constructed in1652, the Burneister House looks to be in GREAT shape. What's the saying?...."They don't make places like that any more". You must have enjoyed walking along the cobblestone roads, but guessing you didn't wear high heels. Any shoe higher than a moccasin or sneaker cold be a challenge. The church in ruins still looks great, even elegant. Wonderful that people can see the power in not destroying them and putting up modern churches. Gives people a chance to pause and imagine what "was". Funny, getting caught up in all the sequential pictures of the people dressed in medieval costumes...then "click" the next picture and see modern buildings. :o) Well, thank you for this blog and pray you are not wearing yourselves out with renovations. Summer is fleeting by too quickly, and not the summer I was imagining, but no one can plan the future with any certainty. Guessing you are learning that lesson too if you didn't already know it. T-burg apparently survived Grassroots,....TONS of people and of course, our annual downpours and heavy winds, followed by 90+ and muggy days. I am not that dedicated to music or gatherings to endure that mess. Take care, stay well, and sending hugs. cyndie & Bill
