So we left Spain we had about 4-5 hour drive to the first winery in Portugal. When we stopped at a gas station to go to the bathroom and get some snacks, we saw a bunch of magazines for my second favorite soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo. I knew this was because he is from Portugal. On the drive I saw vineyards, where the grow grapes for wine. It was amazingly beautiful. The sky was clear and it was amazing view from the top of the hills. The slopes of the hills went down to the Douro river. When we arrived at the first winery, Wine and Soul, we couldn't exactly go in because the winemaker, Sandra, was not there.
