Today our coffee destination is the village Castro Marim which is in a valley between two castles. We enjoyed coffee and a sandwich in a pretty square below a 13th century castle. The historic castle had a wonderful medieval atmosphere to it as you wandered through the grounds. It also offered great panoramic views of the area. From there we crossed through the village to the castle on the other side of the valley. We could not enter this castle, but did walk along its outside walls.
