How nice is this! How nice is this! How nice is this!

This is 'old town' in Warsaw...how cute is it!
Hello from Poland (actually, we're currently in Berlin, but for the sake of the story, we'll pretend and say we're still in Poland.)
Warsaw is a very very nice city and we'd have to say has been our second fave next to St Petersburg (see russia wasnt all bad). The old town especially is gorgeous and the food and clean toilets sure are a bonus!
Once again its unbelievable what these people have been through, and unfortunately seem to still be suffering from (the poles really didnt seem happy) they had to rebuild most of their city after world war 2 and after having one of the worlds largest jewish populations before the holocaust, they now only have around 3000 living there (there used to be 300,000) so it is pretty sad. We stopped at memorial after memorial, each one telling a sadder story than the first, with so many innocent lives lost, but hopefully, that sort of thing will never happen again.
I really dont have much to say about Poland, nothing interesting happened to us, we just spent the day trying local cuisine and shopping for souvenirs, so I think I'm going to have to fill in your time

old town again....loved it!
with mainly photos this time...which unfortunately you're gonna have to wait for.....sorry.
But anyway, we're currently in Berlin and I'm trying my darndest to not let micky purchase every piece of 'world cup' memorabilia that there is, so I'm kinda busy.
Will fill you in on Germany and update the photos next time, til then folks!

There were 7 of these identical buildings in moscow, the soviets wanted 8 (again as a big brother type thing) so they put the 8th in Poland. Its also the worlds largest clock tower

Don't forget your mates
Gidday guys, looks like the world is your oyster (without that fishy taste in your mouth anyhoo) Enjoying the read, and hope the fun continues. The Borough is doing all right without that number 14 fella, finally have a number 14 with two sides to his game! We are still a game or so behind Colts, but our kids are going OK. Now the important thing is this. GERMANY-WORLD CUP(hello)-SOUVENIRS-YES PLEASE!!!!! I may be able to post a Banter if the price is right! Seriously, (dont think Im not serious) keep the news flowing, I showed the boys at Truscott the pics of Mick with the Shemale, that actually took the spot on the notice board where he plays soccer, so it was a winner! enjoy!! Thanks and regards John
