After our few days in beautiful cesky krumlov we had a full day of travelling to reach our next destination Wroclaw in South West Poland.

We were met from the train by my old friend and colleague Piotr who has recently moved home back to Wroclaw. A further reunion with Alex his wife and also Kat who managed to fly over for the weekend of festivities.

Wroclaw is a beautiful town which was previously part of the czech empire and also more recently before WW2 was known as the german city of Breslau. It was returned to Poland after the war and was populated by immigrants coming from the east where Poland is now the Ukraine and Belarus.

We has three full days of sightseeing, with our local travel host. We visited a local panoramic art gallery as well as seeing the cathedral, old town, japanese garden and Hitlers commerative hall. At night Piotr taught us the Polish way to drink vodka.........

All in all we had a lovely relaxing time with friends in Wroclaw!
