Not quite what we expected

We went for a day rafting on the Dunajec River in Pieniny, about 2 hours drive from Krakow. Got ourselves all excited with the thought of going white water rafting for Maries birthday but it turned out it was a more relaxed but equally pleasurable experience.

We spent a pleasant few hours lazily drifting along the river briefly floating over the Slovak border and taking in the amazing mountain scenery.

I must make special mention of our guide who spent the entire day bemoaning his lot in life and a fellow passenger who looked like Kesley Grammer and sounded like Jack Dee.
