Auschwitz and Hitler

Took a short bus ride to the infamous Auschwitz. It was very eerie and surreal place to visit. Unbelievable the amount of destruction caused at this one place. Auschwitz was much smaller than I imagined as half of it had been burnt by the retreating nazis. Birkenau was very clinical in the way that each block was precisely laid out. The train leading up the centre to the gas chambers. Its hard to comprehend as you walk down that same path that lead so many to their murders.
