End of Trip

This will be the end of our journey and the blog. We left Elin and Torbjorn's mid morning, with Lisa there to see us off. After a shopping trip to an outlet store for Bergan's of Norway, a sandwich and walking around Alesund, we settled in at the Alesund Airport Hotel. Found a little local cafe with hamburgers & fries. They were too large, getting us ready for Big Eating at home. Also bought a piece of svele! It is less expensive to buy food as "take out" so we brought it to our hotel room.

It's been a wonderful experience connecting with the family of our grandparents. We warmly invite any and all to our homes in the future.
