So this is a long overdue post of my trip to Northern Norway, in search for the northern lights.

Tromso, a city in the northernmost part of Norway, is often referred to as the capital of the Arctic. Being 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, it is perhaps one of the best places to view the Northern Lights in winter. In the 70 odd photos here, the lights looked like moving curtains of lights high up in the sky.

A pity I didn't get to visit the wolf camp, try my hands on ice fishing, or go on a king crab safari. But the lights were mesmerising enough to warrant a visit again... in the near future, I hope.
